Pre-Demolition
When you think of refrigerant recovery in terms of your project, what do you
think of? Your first thought is probably about the big things like air
conditioning units and chillers, but don't forget there are a lot of small
appliances like air dryers, drinking fountains and refrigerators that can also
contain refrigerant that will need to be recovered before your demolition
project can proceed. Part of our service can include a job walk to point out
anything that may need to have refrigerant recovered from it. This helps you
to know which items need recovery, and it helps us to quote your project
accurately. In some circumstances a walk-through is not possible. In these
cases projects can be quoted based on bid documents or information provided by you.
Meeting Your Timeline
Because of the expert knowledge of our technicians, their experience and the
speed of our recovery equipment, we can go on-site, recover refrigerant and be
finished without disrupting your project’s timeline. Contractors are
continually amazed by the speed of our recovery. Don't take our word for it.

Simplifying Your Job
As each piece of equipment has refrigerant recovered from it, our technicians
will place a bright orange sticker on them. This is done to meet EPA
requirements and has an added side benefit of simplifying your job. When you
look across a rooftop, you can see quickly from a distance that every piece of
equipment with the bright orange sticker has been recovered and is ready for
the next stage of demolition.
EPA Compliance
As stated before, there are specific compliance requirements set forth by the
EPA. Our extensive experience with demolition projects has allowed us to
develop a service and documentation package specifically for the demolition
industry that meets and exceeds all EPA requirements. You can rest assured
that when Rapid Recovery is on-site, the job will be done right!
Certified Technicians
All Rapid Recovery technicians are trained by experts in the refrigerant
abatement industry and are EPA certified.
Certified Recovery Equipment
Our recovery machines are custom designed and built to be faster than anything
else available to the general public. Our research and development team has
produced equipment that has revolutionized the speed at which refrigerant
recovery is possible. Unlike other companies who produce custom recovery
machines, you can rest assured that we have gone through the process of having
our recovery machines ARI certified and they are in compliance with all EPA
regulations.
Documentation
The documentation we provide has been customized to meet the needs of
demolition contractors and their clients. We provide detailed documentation
about which units were recovered, all necessary types and weights of
refrigerant, as well as job-site information. At each stage of the process,
you will have documentation in hand about the refrigerant recovered and what it
was recovered from. First, you will receive handwritten documentation from the
technician on-site. Upon request, you will receive two printed job-site
packets from our office. These job-site packets contain all of the detailed
information about what units were recovered, the type of refrigerant recovered
and the quantity of refrigerant recovered. It also includes a copy of the
technician’s certification as well as a copy of our recovery machine’s ARI
certification. We send you two job-site packets so that you have one for your
records and one that you can give to your client. When you contract Rapid
Recovery for the necessary refrigerant abatement, your company will be able to
prove compliance with EPA regulations.
