Rapid Recovery provides refrigerant handling services that make Clean Air Act compliance simple and affordable. Cylinder service is one of many fast and convenient programs offered. Your cylinders never leave your site and turnaround is instantaneous. Unlike most other companies, we don’t require you to purchase larger cylinders or require you to store our large cylinders that take up your valuable shop space. Rapid Recovery will come to your shop, test, weigh and empty the refrigerant from your recovery cylinders on YOUR schedule.

Beware of other companies’ gimmicks and hidden fees. Be wary of any company that requires you to purchase new scales, refrigerant testing machines or requires long term deposits, as this can easily cost you $1450-2250 in start-up fees. We at Rapid Recovery don’t believe you should be charged all of these start-up fees in order to utilize our services.

Your time is valuable. Don’t ignore the value of your time when you are comparing different cylinder service offerings. It takes you valuable time to weigh your cylinders, test the refrigerant (which also requires expensive testing equipment), sort and then transfer the refrigerant into separate storage tanks and arrange a scheduled pickup time to ship the large cylinders to a reclaim facility. Not only does the traditional reclaim process require a significant investment of your time, it also detracts from what you and your techs do best – service your customers.

Another way Rapid Recovery differs from other companies is that our buy-back price is paid for the gross refrigerant weight taken on-site. Other companies like to offer a high per pound buy-back rate and then a month later, after you’ve sent your refrigerant to them, they make reductions because of oil, moisture and particles that were found in the refrigerant you shipped to them.

Your cylinders are evacuated, put into a vacuum and shrink wrapped the same day. You’ll be able to tell at a glance how many empty cylinders you have available. We test and weigh the refrigerant on-site and can provide job specific documentation. If we recover your R-22, we provide a credit to your account immediately on-site.
